Today, Inspiring Fifty Belgium announces a list of 50 Belgian female leaders who have reached top management positions in the technology sector. By setting these 50 women in the spotlight, we give public recognition to their work, but above all we make them visible to the future leaders and entrepreneurs of tomorrow. This extra visibility is urgently needed, because in 2020 barely 4.7% of top management positions in the technology sector are held by women (1). And barely 0.4% of all the capital invested in technology start-ups over the past year was allocated for companies with a female founder (2).
