10 Best zenloop Alternatives in 2026

Anna Pogrebniak 18 min read

zenloop earned its reputation honestly. Founded in Berlin in 2016 and part of saas.group since April 2023, it built the reference product for automated NPS loops in e-commerce and retail: survey the customer at the right moment, tag the comment, trigger the win-back flow, request the review. For high-volume consumer brands in the DACH region, that automation logic still works, and the platform's German engineering and EU hosting keep procurement calm. If you are searching for zenloop alternatives, the tool probably did not fail you. More likely, your programme has outgrown its shape, and that outgrowing tends to happen in predictable directions: you need more than an NPS-centred loop, you need deeper analysis of what customers actually write in more languages, or you need enterprise capabilities and a faster development rhythm than a stable, portfolio-owned product is built to deliver.

The pressure to get this right keeps growing. Forrester's 2026 CX Index, built on more than 224,000 customer perceptions across 462 brands, found that only 8% of the 72 European brands measured improved their scores, while 91% showed no statistical change at all. Brands are running more feedback programmes than ever and improving less than ever, which suggests the bottleneck is not collection.

Meanwhile the market zenloop serves best keeps expanding. European B2C e-commerce turnover grew 7% in 2025 to 911 billion euros, according to the European E-commerce Report 2026, which covers 38 countries and projects 961 billion euros for 2026. More online revenue means more competitors one click away, and a score without the why behind it will not tell you where that revenue is leaking.

So the real question is this: do you want an automated metric loop, or a platform that also explains what to fix and proves what fixing it is worth? Here are the ten alternatives that deserve your shortlist in 2026.

What to look for in a zenloop alternative

Agree on your criteria before you book demos. These five separate platforms that produce dashboards from platforms that produce decisions.

  1. Metric breadth per touchpoint. An NPS loop measures one relationship signal. Mature programmes mix NPS, CSAT and CES per touchpoint: effort after a delivery question, satisfaction after a support contact, loyalty after the journey. Check that the platform treats all three as first-class citizens, not add-ons to an NPS core.
  2. Analysis quality on open text. Tagging comments into buckets was state of the art in 2019. Today you should expect classification per topic with a sentiment score per topic, in the original language. If the engine translates Dutch, French or Polish feedback to English first, nuance dies in transit.
  3. A line from feedback to money. Impact analysis should rank topics by their effect on your score, so you fix what moves revenue and churn first, and you can defend the CX budget in front of your CFO with numbers rather than sentiment.
  4. Closing the loop at two levels. Win-back flows for individual detractors are necessary, not sufficient. The platform should also surface the structural themes behind those detractors and route them to owners, so the same complaint stops arriving.
  5. Access for the whole organisation. Feedback locked inside one team changes nothing. Favour pricing models where a store manager, product owner or board member can see their own scores and verbatims without a licence discussion.

1. Hello Customer

Best for: zenloop users who want to keep the automated loops and finally get real analysis on top.

We built Hello Customer for exactly the graduation many zenloop customers are making: from a metric loop that runs itself to a voice of the customer programme that explains itself. You do not have to give up automation to gain analysis. You add the why.

Keep the loops, add the why. Like zenloop, we automate the cycle: surveys triggered at the right touchpoint, alerts fired the moment a detractor lands. Unlike a tagging-based tool, ISAAC, our text analytics engine, classifies every open answer by topic with a sentiment score per topic. One comment praising your delivery speed and cursing your returns process becomes two signals, each routed to the right owner, not one ambiguous tag.

Every metric, every touchpoint. NPS, CSAT and CES all run as first-class programmes per touchpoint, from post-purchase to support contact to store visit, and we ingest the feedback you already receive through reviews and support conversations. CX benchmarking puts your scores in context, so you know whether a 42 is a triumph or a warning.

Natively multilingual, no translate-first step. ISAAC reads dozens of languages natively. A Flemish complaint, a French compliment and a German suggestion are analysed with the same precision, which matters the moment your shop ships beyond one market.

From feedback to priorities. Our key driver analysis ranks topics by their measured impact on NPS and CSAT, so the debate about what to fix first ends with evidence. And close-the-loop workflows work on both levels: individual detractor follow-up with deadlines and named owners, plus management visibility on the structural themes that keep generating those detractors. Some of our customers that close the loop on both customer and management levels report minimum 2.3% annual churn decrease and 11% revenue increase. Teams at Standaard Boekhandel and Luminus run this rhythm daily, in retail stores and energy contact centres rather than research decks.

European by design. We are EU-hosted, GDPR compliant and ISO 27001 certified, so switching from one European vendor to another does not reopen the data residency file. Onboarding takes days, and your first touchpoint can be live in the first week.

Limitation: we are a lightweight CXM and feedback management platform with best-in-class text analytics. We are neither a giant XM suite nor a market research and panel tool, and if employee engagement surveys or research panels are core requirements, a suite will cover more ground.

Pricing: volume-based, never per seat, so the whole organisation works with customer feedback. Book a demo for a quote on your volumes.

2. AskNicely

Best for: service businesses that want frontline teams coached on customer feedback.

AskNicely, founded in New Zealand in 2014 with a strong US presence, takes feedback somewhere most platforms do not: to the frontline worker's phone. Its model connects NPS and CSAT responses to the person who delivered the experience, then turns the results into coaching, recognition and leaderboards. For home services, healthcare providers, franchises and other people-powered businesses, that loop between customer feedback and employee behaviour is the whole product, and it is genuinely well executed.

The trade-off is shape. AskNicely is built around service encounters and the people behind them, so e-commerce brands with anonymous, high-volume transactions get less from its coaching core. Text analytics are functional tagging rather than deep mining, and organisations wanting broad journey measurement across many metrics will find the scope narrower than a full VoC platform.

Pricing: published tiers on contact volume from about 299 dollars a month, quote above that; no free trial.

3. CustomerGauge

Best for: B2B companies tying account-level NPS to revenue and churn risk.

CustomerGauge, with Dutch roots and offices in Amsterdam and the US, applies loop thinking to a different problem than zenloop: B2B accounts rather than B2C transactions. Every response links to the account it came from, feedback is weighted by revenue, and the platform flags contracts at risk based on response patterns and silence. For subscription businesses, manufacturers and distributors, knowing that an 800,000 euro account has gone quiet beats any average score.

The B2B shape is deliberate and narrow. High-volume consumer programmes, employee surveys and broad journey measurement are not what CustomerGauge is for, and its text analytics are serviceable rather than class-leading. Companies buy it for revenue linkage and follow-up discipline, not breadth.

Pricing: quote-based, typically scoped on accounts and users.

4. Survicate

Best for: lean teams that want multichannel surveys running today at a published price.

Warsaw-based Survicate is the pragmatic pick. You can start a trial, connect HubSpot, Intercom or your product, and have email, website and in-app surveys live the same afternoon. It publishes its pricing, still rare in this category, from 114 dollars a month billed annually on the Growth plan, with a 10-day trial and no free plan. For product and marketing teams gathering targeted feedback across NPS, CSAT, CES and custom studies, it delivers a lot for the money.

What Survicate does not attempt is heavy analysis or orchestrated follow-up. AI summaries and basic categorisation help, but interpreting tens of thousands of open answers, ranking drivers and running close-the-loop workflows across departments is beyond its brief. It is a strong collection layer, often paired with analysis elsewhere.

Pricing: published tiers from 114 dollars a month billed annually (Growth), Pro from 349 and Enterprise from 569 dollars a month, no free plan.

5. Qualtrics XM

Best for: global enterprises standardising every experience programme on one suite.

Qualtrics is the largest name in experience management, and it grew again in 2026: the company closed its 6.75 billion dollar acquisition of Press Ganey Forsta on 18 May 2026, bringing InMoment, Forsta and Press Ganey all into the Qualtrics group. Qualtrics changed CEO in February 2026 (Jason Maynard) and ran two rounds of layoffs, in August and September 2026, while integrating those platforms. The breadth is unmatched: CX, EX, research panels, healthcare tooling and a partner ecosystem no European vendor can rival.

The cost of breadth is weight. Implementations typically run through certified partners, administration is a real job, and licence conversations involve modules mid-market teams never switch on. Qualtrics operates EU data centres but remains a US vendor, which some European DPOs flag in procurement. A zenloop user jumping straight to Qualtrics is trading a scooter for a freight train; make sure you have the rails.

Pricing: quote-based, enterprise-level, scoped per module and volume.

6. Medallia

Best for: very large B2C organisations capturing signals across every channel.

Medallia remains one of the traditional giants of enterprise CX, strongest where feedback volumes are massive: telecoms, banking, hospitality, large retail. It captures surveys, app behaviour, call recordings and social signals, and its text and speech analytics are proven at serious scale. One ownership note for 2026: Medallia has had new owners since 4 August 2026, a lender group led by Blackstone, Apollo and FS KKR that took over from Thoma Bravo under a recapitalisation agreed in June, with 150 million dollars of new capital. That is a stabilising step rather than a crisis, but roadmap and support continuity are fair questions at renewal time.

Like Qualtrics, Medallia expects enterprise commitment: implementation partners, admin resource and budget to match. Mid-market teams graduating from zenloop will find most of its machinery idle.

Pricing: quote-based, enterprise contracts.

7. Questback

Best for: organisations that want one Nordic vendor for employee and customer feedback together.

Questback, founded in Oslo in 2000 and serving more than 1,600 customers, has spent 25 years running employee engagement, 360 feedback and customer surveys for Nordic enterprises and public bodies. If your roadmap includes serious employee experience work alongside CX, its engagement tooling is among the most mature in Europe, and its consultants understand European works councils and privacy expectations in a way US vendors rarely do. One ownership note: Questback Group left Euronext Growth Oslo in February 2024 and the operating company has been majority-owned by its lender since late 2023, a fair question at renewal rather than a reason to walk away.

Questback remains a survey platform at heart. Open-text analysis is serviceable rather than central, and high-volume teams often export verbatims for deeper mining elsewhere. If your bottleneck is understanding thousands of comments rather than fielding questionnaires, you will feel the gap.

Pricing: quote-based, typically annual contracts scoped on modules and volumes.

8. Feedier

Best for: mid-market European teams consolidating scattered feedback without enterprise overhead.

Feedier, based in Lille, pulls surveys, reviews and imported feedback into one place, applies topic and sentiment analysis, and presents results in dashboards designed for operational teams rather than researchers. French and other European organisations appreciate the EU hosting, French-speaking support and a commercial approach that does not demand a six-figure commitment to start.

As a younger vendor, Feedier has a smaller integration catalogue and partner ecosystem than the platforms above, and large enterprises may find governance features thinner than they need. Teams with extreme verbatim volumes or many languages should test the analysis against specialist engines before committing.

Pricing: quote-based, positioned for mid-market budgets.

9. Thematic

Best for: insights analysts who want to explore why scores move, in depth.

Thematic, founded in New Zealand, is a specialist text analytics platform built around AI theme discovery. Instead of forcing feedback into a fixed taxonomy, it finds the themes present in your data, lets analysts refine them, and quantifies how each theme affects your metric. Stakeholders can ask questions in plain language and get answers grounded in real customer quotes, always traceable back to the verbatims. Its newer layer adds a Scoring Agent that generates predicted NPS, churn propensity and effort scores from the text itself, and a Revenue at Risk ranking.

Thematic is an analysis layer, not a feedback suite. Collection, alerting and frontline workflows are not its focus, so most customers pair it with existing survey and support tools, which means running two platforms where zenloop ran one. European buyers should also ask about hosting and support time zones, since the company's base and infrastructure sit outside the EU.

Pricing: published from 25,000 dollars a year for the Foundation plan (up to 25,000 comments), Enterprise on quote.

10. SurveyMonkey

Best for: teams that need a quick, familiar survey tool for occasional CX measurement.

SurveyMonkey is the survey brand everyone already knows, back under its original name since 2023 after its Momentive interlude. Its strengths are speed and self-service: published per-user pricing (team plans about 30 dollars per user per month with a three-user minimum), hundreds of templates including NPS, CSAT and CES, and an interface any colleague can operate without training. For ad hoc research, event feedback and light recurring measurement, it is hard to beat on convenience.

As a CX operating system it runs out of road quickly. There are no automated win-back loops of the kind zenloop users take for granted, text analysis is basic, and per-user pricing discourages spreading feedback across the organisation. It is a general-purpose survey tool doing occasional CX duty, not a programme platform.

Pricing: team plans from about 30 dollars per user per month with a three-user minimum; Enterprise on quote, the only tier with a data-residency choice.

How to choose

Start from the problem that made you type "zenloop alternatives" into a search bar.

If the problem is "we measure but never act on the why", that is the case we built Hello Customer for: ISAAC turns every verbatim into per-topic signals, impact ranking shows what moves the score, and close-the-loop workflows keep the automation you are used to while adding management-level follow-up. If it is "our frontline teams should improve from feedback", AskNicely owns that niche. "Our revenue lives in B2B accounts" points to CustomerGauge. "We are a global enterprise standardising on one suite" is a Qualtrics or Medallia conversation. "We need employee surveys in the same contract" suggests Questback. "We just need surveys live this week at a visible price" is Survicate or SurveyMonkey, honestly. And "we already have mountains of feedback we cannot read" is Thematic territory, with Feedier as the mid-market consolidation play.

Then apply four practical filters. Company size: enterprise suites reward big programmes and punish small teams with complexity. Pricing model: per-seat licences quietly limit who sees customer feedback; volume-based models spread it. Time to first insight: ask every vendor for the number in days, in writing. Data residency: zenloop set a high bar with German hosting, so confirm any successor clears it; as a Belgian, EU-hosted vendor, that is a conversation we enjoy.

If the graduation path sounds like yours, book a demo and bring a few hundred of your own verbatims. Watching ISAAC classify your customers' actual words beats any comparison table.

Frequently asked questions

Is zenloop shutting down?

No. zenloop was acquired by saas.group in April 2023 and continues to operate from Berlin as part of that portfolio. saas.group's model is long-term ownership of profitable SaaS products rather than rapid resale, so zenloop is a stable product with a continuing roadmap. Buyers comparing options should simply weigh the development cadence of a portfolio-owned product against venture-backed or founder-led rivals, as they would with any vendor.

Is zenloop only for NPS?

Not any more, though NPS remains its centre of gravity. zenloop's survey suite today covers NPS, CSAT, CES, eNPS and custom surveys through its zenSurveys builder, delivered by email, in-app, website widget and in-shop QR code. The platform's automation logic and templates are still shaped around the NPS loop for consumer brands, which is why teams running broader touchpoint programmes across metrics and languages often look at full VoC platforms as the next step.

What is the best zenloop alternative for text analytics?

Shortlist the analysis-first platforms: Hello Customer and Thematic. Thematic is a pure analysis layer that assumes you collect feedback elsewhere, while Hello Customer combines ISAAC's per-topic sentiment analysis, native in dozens of languages, with built-in collection and close-the-loop workflows, so one platform replaces the loop and upgrades the analysis at the same time.

Which zenloop alternatives are European and EU-hosted?

Several, which reflects the strength of the European field. Hello Customer (Belgium), Survicate (Poland), Questback (Norway), CustomerGauge (Dutch roots) and Feedier (France) are all European vendors, and Qualtrics and Medallia offer EU data centres as US companies. zenloop itself processes data on servers within the scope of the GDPR per its own DPA, so if data residency drove your original choice, hold every alternative to the same standard, including where analysis processing happens.

Is zenloop a good home for former Delighted users?

It is one of the credible landing spots, particularly for e-commerce brands that mainly ran NPS. Delighted's retirement on 30 June 2026 pushed many teams to re-evaluate, and the honest answer depends on what you ran: a simple NPS pulse maps neatly onto zenloop, while multi-metric programmes with heavy open-text volumes usually justify a bigger analytical step up. Our guide to Delighted alternatives compares the options side by side.
